Want to know more about Slava Dance Company:

Slava  Dance was founded in 2003 by artistic director Natalie M. Kapeluck with its premiere concert in Cleveland, Ohio.  The company is known for its poetic and sometimes irreverent movement.

Slava was often featured in MN2 Productions such as Shadows of our Forgotten Ancestors and Forrest Song.  Kapeluck endeavors to blend her love of her Ukrainian culture and modern dance as witnessed in UkieFusion.

The current on-going project of the company is the Pittsburgh Dance Bomb Project.  A collaboration with photographer Ethan Nixon, the dancers and photographer conduct impromptu photo shoots at iconic sites in Pittsburgh that capture the essence of the site.  The PDB Project has already shot at Station Square, Market Square and the Waterfront.  The culmination of the project will result in a live performance utilizing the images as well as a gallery showing.  To view the PDB Project or learn more about the company, www.dapcoop.com.
